The Fresno Bee Gets a Sneak Peek at Our Downtown Courtyard by Marriott

The new Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Fresno is nearly ready to welcome its first guests. Rising at the corner of M and Inyo streets, the five-story, $29 million hotel brings 144 rooms — including eight suites — a 4,000-square-foot banquet hall, and an outdoor courtyard pool to the heart of the city, with opening planned for August 2026.

The Fresno Bee recently toured the property for a first look inside ahead of opening day. The hotel marks Axis Hotel Group's first downtown Fresno property and a milestone in our commitment to the city's revitalization, with more Central Valley projects on the way — including a planned Residence Inn by Marriott near First and Shaw avenues.
